HISTORY
CAMPUS Italia de México began its operation in 2016. At first, it was just a company that imported products from Italy, but the commercial success and the introduction of differentiated ingredients quickly allowed it to take the next big step: the construction of a local manufacturing plant.
Thus, in 2018 the Monterrey site was inaugurated in the state of Nuevo León where, in addition to the manufacturing plant, the pilot plant managed by ourR&D team, administrative offices and finished product warehouses are located.
The factory is located just a few minutes from the International Airport and is very close to main industrial areas.
Coupled with its proximity to the United States border, it makes this location a strategic position.
Food Safety at CAMPUS Italia-Mexico has been taken very seriously since the site was designed.
Since its founding, the plant has operated under British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards and is now also HACCP and Kosher certified.
INDUSTRIAL PROCESS SIMULATION PLANT
Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, CAMPUS Italia de Mexico’s pilot plant is the ideal place to carry out research, development, and successful implementation of new solutions under an environment of total control in real industrial conditions. Here, it is possible to simulate almost any process for production of meat and plant-based products on a small and medium scale, since the site has equipment for injection, tumbling, grinding, mixing, cutting, emulsifying, smoking, baking, cooking, drying, refrigerate, freezing, cold process area and independent refrigeration and freezing chambers.
